Tired of Paying Full Price For Wii Games?

Just calm yourself, and don't always worry about being the first person to get the coolest stuff right when it comes out. You'll still get a chance to play with the latest games, and save yourself a bundle of money, if you buy your games at least a month or longer after their release date.

Or, if you have commitment issues, and like to have a new Wii game every week or so, then perhaps renting is the solution for you. You rent movie videos after all don't you? So why don't you rent video games?

If your going to be serious about renting games, don't just stop at your local neighbourhood video store. You need to broaden your horizons a little. It's always good to have a few places to turn to. There are a few online game rental companies where you simply pay a monthly fee, and then rent as many movies as you can play.

Oh sure, renting is not without it's imperfections. That are a few caveats, and you need to be aware of them, before you go leaping in. Delivery of the game usually via the post is the biggest one, but it's getting better. Meanwhile, the benefits of game rental are too numerous to be ignored.

Here's another great benefit of renting games. You can stop trying to keep track of the games that are worth paying $50 or $60 for. A rental is usually less than $7, so who cares if you get a lemon. It's cheap, and you can return it whenever you want.

Maybe, I'm the only Wii owner that didn't get the original memo, but you can actually download Wii games right from Nintendo on your Wii. Assuming of course, that you've bothered to hook it up to your WiFi. Another little juicy tidbit to note here, is that WiiWare games are really cheap. The usually average around $7. How's that for cheap Wii games?

Do stay away from all those unlimited Wii download sites. They're not really legal, and basically charge you to use download software that is already free. Between renting, WiiWare, and buying / selling Wii games on eBay, there's already enough legit ways to get great bargains on Wii games.

Looking For Some Used Wii Games?

Tell me your not one of those people making fools of themselves to get the latest eye popping candy of a video game to hit the store shelves. Well, if you are, I'm the guy a few shelves back picking out two or three triple-A games for the price your paying for the shiny new one. Who do you think is going to have more gaming fun?

I remember when videos first came out on Beta (yes I am that old), that they were unbelievably expensive. Like around $60 to $100. Nobody bought new, as renting was much more reasonable. Not sure why movies started that way, and video games started by selling their product. But now a days, it makes more sense to rent most video games.

As much as I do like the convenience of having my own games rental store right in my neighourhood, I'm also the kind of guy hat likes to have a backup plan. Meaning, I rent games from wherever I can. Even if that means signing up online with those companies that ship games right to your door. You send the games back when your done, and they send you more.

I don't just think of how renting games saves me money over buying, but the good it's doing for the planet as well. Yep, that's right, you heard me, I said "the planet". Renting should be right up there with the other 3 R's of Reduce / Reuse / Recycle. It really is a reuse, since your sharing the same game with everyone else that's played it.

I'm sure this has happened to everyone here. You've all spent way to much money on a game, that does nothing buy sit at the bottom of your games pile, never to be used again. Well, the good news is that with game rental, that all goes away. You only waste a few bucks, plus the game goes back to the store in a few days, so it's not there to constantly remind you of your bad purchase decision.

One of the great things about games on the PC, is that anybody can develop games for it, and distribute them through the internet. That allowed all kinds of indie game developers to produce cool games, that the big companies wouldn't take a chance on. A few consoles, are opening this avenue up on their machines as well. With the Wii for instance, you can download WiiWare games to play on your Wii. There's some pretty cool stuff out there.

The way I see it, after reading this, there's no reason for you to ever have to pay full price for a Wii game ever again. You've got the option to rent Wii games from a whole bunch of places, or downloading some choice WiiWare games direct through your Wii. Oh, and I didn't even mention how many great Wii games you can find on eBay.

Be sure to visit Used Wii Games for some great prices on all the Used Nintendo Wii Games you want to play.

Gamerscore Boosting

Gamerscore is the backbone of the Xbox gaming community. Players with high gamerscore earn respect - something that is rarely given in the world of Xbox live. There are about 400 games out for the Xbox 360, and each has 1,000 gamerscore or more. Plus, that's not even including the arcade games. That means that there are about 400,000 gamerpoints to earn, plus whatever amount from all the arcade games. How could someone possibly get all the gamerscore available? It is possible, but you would have to do some serious gamerscore boosting.

But what is gamerscore boosting? Basically, it's cheating the system in order to get more achievements. It is not technically cheating, so you can't be banned from Xbox live or anything like that. The basis of gamerscore boosting is simply getting some friends, or even just random people from Live, and playing with them for the sole purpose of getting achievements.

You know all those achievements that say "kill ____ people with head shots"? I'm sure you know full well how hard that is and how long it would take. However, with gamerscore boosting, you can get a few friends together, line them all up, and get hundreds of head shots within minutes.

Gamerscore boosting works for virtually any achievement. Almost every achievement becomes easier when you are playing with friends. The only ones that don't gain anything from gamerscore boosting are achievements that require solo play - things like "Beat ___ level on solo only". These achievements usually cannot be boosted, so they must be earned legitimately.

Looking for specific methods of gamerscore boosting? Want to boost gamerscore quickly and easily? You can find an article explaining specific methods at the link provided. Also be sure to check out a list of games for easy Xbox achievements to get a head start.

Why Would Anyone Want to Buy Used Wii Games?

I can't remember, when I was the first person to buy one of the new game releases. I'm usually, the guy looking for deals. That usually means, buying the games I wanted to play months ago, but just never got around to. I'm sure you can think of at least a half dozen games you never played, but really wanted to, and are now for sale under $30.

Most video stores of any size these days, will rent console games for the Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, and likely a few others. Think your missing out on something? Yep, you probably are. Those games are there cause other bright people are saving buckets of money by renting their video games, instead of buying them.

It's always good to diversify, so don't stick to just renting your Wii games from one place. I'm not just referring to driving all over town. What I'm talking about is checking out the different places online for renting games. There are some sites, that allow you to rent two or three games at a time from the huge inventory for a fixed reoccurring chare.

Think of all the other things you could be doing with your money instead of adding to the collection of dusty games cluttering up your home. Heck with all the money you save renting games, you could be more than half way saved up to buying that next gaming console. You know, it can't be too long before the next one hits the shelves.

The other thing I like about game rentals for my Wii, is that I never get burned by paying a ton of money for a game that sucks. Paying six bucks for a game rental that isn't that great, is no big deal. Paying fifty bucks for the privilege of owning a game that blows, is really annoying.

Hey, guess what? Did you know that your Wii console can download games for you to play? Yep, it's true, they're called WiiWare. They're also pretty inexpensive, and there are some really good quality new games on there. There are plenty of old school Nintendo games as well. They're usually about $5 and are real classics that are still fun to play.

Well, hows that for enough great choices to get some cheap Wii games. In summary, you can rent games from a number of places. Both in town, and on the web. Plus, you can download some great WiiWare online using your Wii console. Plus, you can get used games on eBay, or other auction sites online.

Be sure to visit Used Wii Games for some great prices on all the Used Nintendo Wii Games you want to play.

WoW Power Leveling Guide

There are many people who join World of Warcraft to be with friends or family and want to get a character leveled as quickly as possible. There are also those who have a level 80 character and want to level as fast as they can. Both of these scenarios have one thing in common. They want to level quickly. I wrote this short World of Warcraft Power Leveling Guide to help them accomplish that goal.

Questing

One thing that you must do if you want to level quickly and efficiently is run quests. In fact you should run as many as you can find. Fill your quest log with as many quests as you can find then head off into the wilderness to do them.

The key is to do them efficiently. I use an add-on that places a directional arrow on my screen. This add-on helps determine the most efficient way to run the quests that you have. You'll find a link to a place you can get one of these at the bottom of this article.

Efficiency

In order to level quickly we must do it efficiently. One way of doing that is to make use of the time you have between quest objectives. Instead of finishing an objective and heading for the next one you should take your time to kill your way to it. When you are done with your quests kill your way back to turn them in as well. Not only will this increase your overall earned experience it will swell your bank account as well.

Group Quests

Unless you have a high level friend to run you through instances forget about group quests. They are a time sink and slow down you progress. Group quests are intended for more than one player and we all know how you can get stuck waiting for someone to show up etc. Groups are ok for the high end but when you are speed leveling use caution.

Quest Levels and Other Zones

Do not be in the mindset that you have to complete every quest in a zone before you can move on to another. In fact I encourage a bit of moving around. If the quests in one zone are getting a bit hard and you are dying quite a bit try moving to an adjacent zone that has some lower level quests. You can shoot through those and then come back for the harder ones when you have leveled a bit.

Rest and Relaxation

When you are going to leave the game always log out in an inn or capital city. When you log out in these places you build up rested experience. Believe me you will love the 200% experience that you will have for awhile when you get back.

If you use these simple basic rules of power leveling you will find that the levels fly by much faster than you would have thought.

Secrets to World of Warcraft Mage Leveling

Mages are sought after members of most groups in WoW. Their intelligence buff coupled with their ability to provide foods that regenerate health and mana are some of their most sought after characteristics. The Mage is also famous for its burst DPS.

When comparing a Mage to other classes, you'll notice that Mages definitely lacks something when it comes to hit points. The are also far more limited in their fighting than other classes such as Warlocks and Hunters who have pets, the ability to heal themselves when hurt (Priests, Shaman, and Druids), they don't even have heavy armor like Paladins and Warriors do. What the Mage has is control In order to successfully level a Mage you'll need to learn how to master this.

Mages, like all other WoW classes have three skill trees. For Mages, the skill trees are Arcane, Fire, and Frost. Frost is the skill that has most control out of the three. Arcane and Fire both lack a lot in terms of control but can be devastating for opponents.

While frost may not give you the massive hit that Arcane and Fire can, you will have a lot more control of the situation. Some talents allow your chill effects to actually freeze the target for a short time, you can also increase the time the chill lasts for and stun your target. Frost can be very effective to use when levelling solo.

A tactic that I have used often (one that works very well for me) when leveling my Mage's is to go out to an area where there a plenty of mobs, get them around you and the go for them with Frost Nova. This will root them still in one place. You should then follow this up with Blizzard (make sure you're out of melee range) to do massive damage.

Some players may argue that you should always go for mobs that are your level, I don't see it like that however, lets play out two different scenarios.

In scenario one we will assume I'm out fighting mobs my own level. Given I don't have strong armor and the mobs hit hard, I'll have to take them out one at a time. At an estimate lets say I can kill one every 3 minutes, that means I'd get through 20 in an hour all going well. At 200 points per kill, I'll have a grand total of 4000 experience points after an hours killing.

In scenario 2 we will head out into a zone where there are a heap of mobs that are all green to me. I start rounding them up 5 at a time and going at them by freezing them and then using Blizzard. I'll earn about 500 experience points for each group of mobs that I kill. I kill these off at about the same time it took me to kill 1 in scenario 1. I can therefore make 10000 experience points per hour compared to 4000 in scenario 1. I'll also get to loot a heap more mobs meaning I'll be able to make a lot more cash.

Leveling a Mage in World of Warcraft can seem like an arduous task, especially given that Mages don't have the abilities to heal themselves, don't have pets, and have low hit points. It's not as tough as it seems however. If you take the time to practice the art of control, you'll see that you can do massive damage in short time periods.

What's Brewing in the Wii Homebrew Channel

The Wii Homebrew Channel is a freeware Wii homebrew games loader. The channel was created to offer an easy way of running unofficial software on the Wii console. After installing this freeware, it appears as a standard Wii channel on the Wii Menu. Once launched a list of applications found on an SD card is displayed. Users are able to select an application to launch with a GameCube controller or the Wii remote.

The Homebrew Channel likewise accepts application uploads through a USB Gecko or TCP/IP (over WiFi or Ethernet) that allows quick application testing during development. At first launch of the the HB Channel will check for updates and will enable the user to automatically download them if they choose to do so.

Installing the Wii Homebrew requires the use of software exploits, since Nintendo designed the Wii game console to prevent the use of unauthorized software. One of installing the channel on a Wii is by using a bug in the signature verification of discs and a modchip. Another way of installing this channel is by using an exploit in the game "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. "Dubbed the "Twilight Hack" this exploit was developed by Team Twiizers, it is a specially crafted game save copied from an SD card. Wii's Firmware version 4.0 has entirely disabled this hack. However the Twilight Hack currently runs on all Wii System Software versions except for version 4.0. Nintendo announced that as of December 2008, Wii updates will no longer remove the Homebrew Channel if it is already there.

The Wii HB Channel is compatible with many different types of controller including the Wii Remote, the Nunchuck plus Wii Remote, the Classic Controller and the Les Paul Guitar Controller. The channel has its own browser that can download applications to do a variety of things. Other applications can also be downloaded from the official hackmii Website. Many Web sites have been reported to be selling the free software in violation of the copyright claim of Team Twiizers. Some of these sites have been stopped but there are still others who are trying to peddle this freeware.

The site of the Wii Homebrew Channel is promoted as a channel for launching homebrew games and applications without running the Twilight Hack first. The menu it shows is a list of applications stored and organized on an SD card, which is easily customizable to look just the way the user wants it to look. Homebrew apps will run via TCP or USB Gecko.

How to Play Wii Sports

I love when people ask me how to play Wii sports, because the beauty of Wii Sports is that it's really easy to play. What I want to tell people is to simply grab the controller, and before you know it, you'll be controlling the game like it's second nature. That's what is so great about the game.

There are five games in Wii Sports. Bowling, Boxing, Golf, Tennis, and Baseball. So how do you play them? Baseball is actually very simple to play. Hold the Wii remote like you would an actual Baseball bat. Once done, swing the remote like you would a real Baseball bat and try and hit the ball. That's it. So how do you pitch? Simply hold the Wii remote in your hand, and "shake it." Or essentially, mimic what you would do while throwing a real ball, just don't let go of the Wii remote.

There are different ways you can throw the ball by simply utilizing the buttons on the Wii remote. With Bowling, press and hold the B button and swing the controller as you would a bowling ball. The B button acts as your fingers do with a real bowling ball. Let go of the B button to release the bowling ball. With Tennis, once again, swing the remote as you would a real tennis racquet.

To serve the ball, swing the remote upwards to throw the ball upwards. As the ball comes down, swing the remote to try and hit it. If you want, you can replace the upwards motion to throw the ball up with pressing the A button instead. With Golf, swing the remote like you would a real golf club. For a practice shot, simply swing the remote. When your ready to finally hit the ball, swing the remote, but only this time hold down the A button at the same time.

Last but not least is Boxing. Connect the Nunchuck into the Wii remote and start swinging away. Yes, the remote and nunchuck act as your arms and hands. That pretty much wraps it up on how to play Wii Sports. Make sure your wearing the wrist strap, just in case your controller decides to go flying. Wii Sports comes bundled with the purchase of a Wii console. It's a game the whole family can enjoy. Have fun!

World of Warcraft Tailoring Guide

Tailoring is one of the 14 professions available in World of Warcraft and is the processing of cloth that is dropped during your adventures into cloth and then into clothing or armor that you can wear and sell. Of course like most professions in the game the real money does not start to roll in until you reach the higher levels.

This is not a guide in the traditional sense in that I will not take you step by step through the trade and tell you where to find the next recipe that you will need. This guide is geared to show you exactly how to earn gold with your skill. Tailoring can be a very lucrative trade if you play your cards right. Just one aspect of tailoring can earn you some very good cash but if you put them all together then you will have multiple streams of income.

Everyone starts out the game with a backpack which quickly fills up and then you have to run to town or find a remote merchant to get rid of the junk that you have acquired in your adventures. Though you can buy bags in the game you can only get the largest from a tailor. Believe me, in the early stages of game play you will be happy just to have a few 6 slot bags, but later on you will want larger ones.

Tailors are capable of making general bags that range in size from 6 to 20 slots. Larger general bags can be learned by working on reputation with certain factions. Tailors can also make specialty bags for just about every profession in the game. These bags can hold even larger amounts but are limited in what type of item can be put in them. Bags are an excellent way to get some coins in your pocket a lower level. Then when you reach higher skills you can earn some very nice gold simply by making them.

Tailoring is unlike most other trade skills in that it does not require that you have a gathering profession to support it. Blacksmithing, Engineering, and Jewelcraft require mining for example. This leaves you free to take another crafting profession though ideally you will want to take a gathering profession such as mining, skinning, or herbalism as your second profession. This will give you the ability to earn some gold while your tailoring skills are still low.

As you progress you will be able to make specialty cloth like mooncloth, spellcloth, and many others. These specialty cloths can earn quite a bit of gold as well. Most of the recipes that use these cloths require multiple bolts of it and you are restricted as to how many you can make in a certain period of time. Others will pay big time gold to get their hands on a specialty cloth so they can create an epic item.

Finding cloth is really pretty easy compared to finding mining nodes or plants to pick. The only thing you have to do to get cloth is level. Cloth drops from humanoids and all you have to do is kill them to get it. No digging, picking, or skinning involved.

Save the cloth that you get and turn it into bolts and then into items that will progress your skill. All cloth except linen can also be turned in for quests in the major cities of your side as well. After you have done the runecloth quest you can then turn stacks of it in to build your reputation with a certain faction, so hang on to it.

Tailoring can earn quite a bit of gold at higher skill levels, it is easy to get, and you can use it for reputation gains. Bags sell for big time gold when you learn the ability to make the largest general bags and goes up again when you learn specialty bags.

Specialty cloth can be sold as well. Chances are that if you are considering becoming a tailor, you are a cloth wearing class, so you can make your own armor along the way as well.

Tyrone Bouton has been playing WoW for over 4 years. To get more information about Tailoring, read Tyrone's WoW Tailoring Guide. If you are really just after making more gold, check out Seth's Warcraft Millionaire Review for more tips and tricks.

Haunted Houses Flash Games

Have you ever tried playing a game that is really chilling that you feel the goose bumps all over your skin? Imagine being stuck on a highway and nowhere to go to but to an old strange house full of evil. Haunted House Massacre is a flash game that has the audio and effects made really spooky and realistic at the same time. It all starts from a road trip of Fanny and her boyfriend. After having some car problems, Fanny's boyfriend decided to go to a house to see if they can contact someone and ask from help. However, as Fanny's boyfriend never came back, she went inside looking for him. As a player, you would be playing the role of Fanny, looking for your boyfriend inside the haunted house by passing through different doorways, hallways, and dead ends until you reach him... But be in for a surprise as there are lots of spooky effects and audio sounds that make the game play more exciting. If you fail to rescue Fanny's boyfriend, you can retry the game or start from where you ended. A word of advice: do not play this alone during the night or you might get freaked out.

There is a lighter side in playing these haunted house games. Among these less scary games is a flash game entitled Save Ed. If you want laughter and enjoyment instead of the heart pounding scary flash games, then this game is for you. Your goal is to rescue Ed by guiding Molly and Tom around the house. It is a 2d sidescrolling game with lots of cool ghoulish characters that makes you remember Halloween. Your goal here is to find the key on each of the three levels which will open the door of the same colour until you reach Ed. As you go from room to room, stay clear of trap doors and avoid hitting monsters as you get to loose a life which is in the form of a garlic. You are given 5 cloves of garlic initially. You also have a flashlight but your batteries are constantly running out, so you have to collect the batteries scattered around the house. This is quite a simple, but fun and enjoyable haunted house flash game that keeps it a really fascinating game play for everyone of all ages.

If you prefer shooting zombies like in an arcade, then try to play Haunted House Ghouls. It kind of looks easy at first, but when you get to play this game, you need to have accuracy in shooting all the zombies all around the house with your shotgun. You need to shoot them as fast as you can, because if you get hit by the blue orbs coming from the zombies and you run out of life/energy, your shooting will be futile.

These are just a few of the haunted house and scary games that were reviewed. If you want to have a wide variety of scary and spooky games, Rival Saga Mini Games have a collection of free flash games to choose from. Whether you are looking for a spine-tingling, hair-rising, heart pounding games, or you just want to relax and enjoy playing haunted houses flash games, then Rival Saga Mini Games has it all for you.

The 7 Biggest Mistakes FIFA 09 Gamers that Make

1. Failing to Pass the Ball

A typical FIFA newbie move is to sprint with the ball as fast as possible and try to outrun the opponent's defense. This is a common error, but can be fixed with efficient passing and moving.
Let the ball do the work, or else you can fatigue your squad and your opponent will have the upper hand.

2. Ignoring All the Controls

FIFA 09 is one of the most comprehensive soccer games ever because FIFA 09 contains a wide array of controls. You must learn all the controls to fully enhance your FIFA skills. Learn all the basic skills, combos, moves, controls, etc. This will give you a much more comfortable feeling with the game, and comfort leads to confidence when playing FIFA online.

3. Playing Loose Defense

The #1 key to winning games in FIFA 09 is defense. A very defensive gamer can shutout multiple opponents in a row even if he only scores 1 goal a game. Improve your defense by tacking while facing up, clearing anything within your 18 yard box, and by challenging each aerial ball with aggressive heading.

4. Ignoring Substitutes and Formations

Your team management skills must improve to increase your chancing of pulling home the victory. Start out by testing different formations until you find a good groove. The 4-4-2 and 4-3-2-1 worked best for me in the past. Also, don't forget about fatigue and substitutions. Bringing on a fresh face during the 2nd half increases momentum, chemistry, and provides that needed spark to bring home the win.

5. Reckless Tackling

Some gamers let out their frustrations by slide tackling from behind when the game is only 0-2. I have come back from 0-4 deficits to win because FIFA 09 is never over until the final referee's whistle. It is better to quite a game than rack up a bunch of yellow and red cards. You can come back from a few goals, but rarely can you after suffering several red card ejections.

6. Lack of Shooting

There is no such thing as the perfect shot in FIFA 09. You need to take any and every shot you get. A telling sign is when a player records less than 5 shots in one match. Work the goalkeeper, and don't be afraid to shoot from long distance.

7. Lack of Consistency

The more you play FIFA 09, the better you become. Too often, gamers play a few games, get frustrated, then take out their frustration on the EA Sports forums. It will take at least 20 games until you start seeing some results. Aim to play the best competition until your skills improve.

Hopefully you are aware of these 7 crucial FIFA 09 mistakes and will take the necessary steps to take your FIFA 09 skills and knowledge to the next level.

EVO - The Smart Console of the Future

A small, independent company is making big waves in a turbulent economy. Envizions Computer Entertainment Corporation has recently unveiled its much debated consumer and environment friendly gaming console. Earlier this month Derrick Samuells was stated, in regards to the Smart Console, "EVO is a project that has taken five years of work and dedication." The console is known popularly as the EVO Smart Console and launched its beta testing debut on April 1, 2009. The staff at Envizions is confident in their efforts, calling their system "The New Generation of the Gaming Industry". The company strives to provide reliable customer support and the highest level of quality by giving all the new buyers peace of mind protection on the beta models. After all the hype, the facts were still very questionable.

After doing some testing personally, I found the companies claims of convergence and customer support to be absolutely true. The usability of the console was a pleasant surprise; with its straightforward interface and commonsense setup anyone can make worthwhile use of this very Smart Console. The EVO is a system that combines a PC and a game console into one incredibly savvy entertainment console. It is incredibly light weight, and is virtually noiseless. It has enhanced overall performance due to advanced internal hardware and software. The games do not come in standard CD form like other consoles, but instead on a much smaller, much faster, SD card. Due to its Open Source nature there is a very long list of free games and desktop applications that can be downloaded to the console, and I'm told there will always be upgrades and patches for those free downloads. Every feature about the Smart Console can only get better and will. I spoke with several of the companies executives such as Chief Technical Officer Chris McInnish. He had this to say of the budding entertainment device, "We provide a great system which possesses unlimited possibilities because it is Open Source".

Although the company may seem like a small fish, they are definitely stirring conversation in the chat room portion of the internet as well as popular blogging sites such as Twitter, MySpace, and Face book. In fact, in their local region EVO Smart Consoles are already being purchased daily just through their personal office. The EVO has very advanced technology preprogrammed into it such as voice, facial, and fingerprint recognition. One accessory in particular caught my attention; this USB sized feature is a biometric fingerprint recognition device that will allow consumers to use their fingerprint to access restricted areas on their personal device, instead of the tedious and time consuming password method.

This feature also offers protection to the costumer by making the system security impenetrable due to the impossibility of duplicating the fingerprint. During a conversation with the Director of Operations and Business Development Terrence Johnson, he commented "Our goal at Envizions is to expand and merge multiple devices into one unit." The company is in the process of beta testing and is continuously contributing code to the system. The attitude at Envizions is bright and seems to be full of excitement. The EVO Smart Console, being the first to combine a PC, DVR, Gaming Hub, Cloud, and Internet into one unit, will create quite a stir in the industry forums as they strive to make their product better during the current and coming weeks. They plan to continue working diligently towards better applications as well as creating new, free updates for the console.

I learned a lot about Envizions and in my estimation, with their do-all attitude; they are a rising star in the entertainment community. They seem to take real pride in costumer support as well as user friendly products. I have been made a believer, I believe in the EVO and in what Envizions is doing as a company. I do recommend them for further evaluation by the public and will be personally purchasing an EVO for myself in the near future. This is a giant step for the community of technology and gaming industries.

Rediscovering a Lost Classic - Sonic the Hedgehog!

Sonic is one of those lost classic games from the early years of console gaming. The earlier versions were the greatest games in the entire series. They sold very rapidly, and had a lot of replay value to them. Even if you beat the game, there were various things you could continue to do throughout the game to enjoy it further, from collecting chaos gems, to finding all the hidden areas.

Sonic was the little hero everyone could jump behind, because he was always being picked out and the odds always stacked against him. You got right immersed into the games in a way most of today's current games are lacking.

How Can I Enjoy These Games Today?

If you are finding you have that itch to play the good old sonic games, but do not have the proper old systems, never fear! You can do a simple search on any of the popular search engines for free online sonic games. Many websites have the games put into emulators, which allows the game to be playable while simply viewing a webpage. This ease of play allows people to enjoy the classics of simple, old style gaming without owning the new style systems that some folks cannot afford.

One of the upsides of some of the old systems is the surge in popularity the older games are experiencing. Nintendo, Sony and others are bringing older games to the newer consoles via downloads and classic game packs. These are affordable ways to pick up the classics without having to purchase older systems and the cartridges to match.

What Attracts People To The Use Of Emulators?

Emulators allow the use of bug fixes and additional features that had not happened in the games original versions. Issues with video, sound or game play itself could be fixed by even an amateur whom has some small measure of coding experience. This can bring your game to a whole new level by adding things to those games like HD, which most people never dreamed of for these classics.

Sonic can be brought back to life in ways we miss and can even be improved. We love that little blue hedgehog because he has been a fixture in our gaming lives for many years. We yearn to have that portal back to our youth and get lost in the "good old days". These games in today's age of the internet are able to be enjoyed in whole new ways.

Sonic the Hedgehog - The Hero That Sped Into Our Hearts, Both Offline and Online!

Sonic the Hedgehog was first introduced to the world in 1991 on the Sega Genesis gaming system. The little hedgehog sped his way straight into our hearts from day one. It was a fresh take on the normal side scrolling, save the princess style adventure that gamers were used to back in that time.

So Why Was It So Popular?

That's simple, because it was different. It distanced itself from being the cookie cutter simply repackaged with new characters style game systems were turning out at that time. The primary threat early on in the Sonic series was a character named Dr "Eggman" Robotnik.

Rings were a staple of the Sonic universe. Instead of health or something similar, rings were the "health". As long as you possessed a single ring and got hit by a trap or enemy that caused damage, you would live and your ring(s) would simply be scattered out from you in a circle. If you were hit while you had no rings, you would then lose a life. This was a completely new concept to the video gaming world where health bars were a main staple. Having a different system, or change from the normal formula of a video game would scare some people away from even trying it.

Chaos Emeralds were also another feature throughout the Sonic series that has gone through many redesigns. In the series they are powerful gems (depending on what game you consult they come in a total of 6, 7 or 8) that turn thoughts into power, and become a power source for various ranges of weaponry.

Why Did We Love That Speedy Little Blue Rascal of a Hedgehog?

Back in the early 90's, there was not the common violent standard in video games there is today. Video games were fun, or at the very least when they had guns and violence, did not have the sophisticated graphics to back it up. Back in the early days of Nintendo, Sega, etc games were built around lovable characters and superb game play. Graphics were iffy at beast although things like Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario did not require top notch graphics to have the superb stories behind them.

How Does Sonic Hold Up In Today's Gaming World?

Very well! They have adapted him in many ways to fit the rapid changing needs of today's gamer. They have given new villains to the series. With the new villains came brand new allies and brand new forms for both sides to turn into. Chaos Gems and various other elements wove these items into the storyline in beautiful fashion and to this day allow the series to continue on unstopped from its early 90's debut.

Sonic has even started to join other popular gaming characters in their series. Mario and Sonic teamed up for an Olympics themed game that has a sequel coming out in late 2009.

Games these days are a dime a dozen, they come and go after being touted the "next big thing". Sonic, being one of the games from the "old or classic" era of games is still alive and strong and if video game producers had to ever take an example of how to get a game people love for decades after its arrival, maybe its time they go back to the beginning when games were about the story, and about the fun.

How to Copy Games - This is How to Copy and Backup Your Video Games

If you play video games of any sort whether it is the PlayStation, Nintendo Wii or the Xbox 360 gaming console, it should be a must that you know how to copy any of your video games. Being able to burn and make backup copies of your video games should be a no brainer. Video games are not cheap and can get destroyed very easily. Therefore it is a smart idea to backup your video game collection and protect your investments.

Just a few years ago your chances of burning your video games was slim to none. But thanks to good old technology we can now make an exact copy of our original video games. Technology companies have made a software just for the sole purpose of burning video games.

In order to make backups of your video games you are going to need a few things. Of course the first thing you will need is the game copying software. The normal software that you use to burn a CD or DVD will not work for burning video games. Game copying software will get you around all the copyright protections on the original disc. You will need to have a DVD burner on your computer and some blank disc.

Once that you have the copying software installed on your computer you are ready to burn a copy of your original game. The first thing that you will need to do is load the game that you want to make a copy of, then start the game copying software.

The software will then read your original game disc and store the data on your computers hard drive, when it is done it will then tell you to load a blank disc, and depending on how fast your computer is, in just a matter of minutes you will have an exact copy of your original game. And the good thing about the software is that it can burn all types of games. These are just some of the games that it can burn, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, Nintendo Wii and even PC games.

That's all there is to know on how to copy games, it is so easy that anyone can do it.

Now that you know how to copy games, all that you have to do is Click Here to get started making backups of your video game collection.

Counter Strike - Tips For Surviving in Combat

1. Cover and Reload

A. Cover when reloading

Your most vulnerable when your reloading, it is most important that you get behind a wall or box whilst you are reloading, not only will the enemy not see you, they won't kill you. Many players do not run for cover whilst they are reloading and stand around waiting to be shot at with no hope of shooting back in time, don't let this happen to you.

B. Don't habitually reload after a kill

Many players try and reload their guns straight after they kill an opponent, this is a fatal mistake that gets many players (even the pros) killed. The reason you do not reload straight after you kill an opponent is because there is a possibility that another opponent has come in straight after and if you are reloading, you will almost certainly die.

2. Smoke and Flash

A. Use smoke grenades to provide cover when none is available

If your reloading and there are no walls or boxes around you to give you cover then I suggest that you should use a smoke grenade and block the enemies sight of you. Using a smoke grenade is also a good idea in situations where you want to distract an opponent or draw them into the smoke. If your opponent is aiming at the smoke it will take them some time to find you in it before you kill them.

B. Use flash bang grenades before charging

Using flash bang grenades before you run in can be a life-saver, this is crucial if you know that several enemies lurk around the corner. I would always use a flash bang before charging into the enemy base.

This ends my tips on how to stay alive in Counter-Strike

Up Your Game in WoW Using These 7 Tips

With so much trashy information available on the internet these days, it can be a hit and miss affair as to whether you find what you're looking for. In this article I'm going to share with you 7 fundamental tips that you can use to up you WoW performance immediately.

1. Read your quest journal well.

Before you ask questions via chat boxes or look for information on the internet, use your quest journal to get directions for each quest. These have all the info that you need in order to complete each quest. If you want to ask someone, ask the city guard, but don't waste time by chatting or searching online as you'll often receive inaccurate information.

2. Know your environment well from the start.

Minimize the time you spend darting about blindly by spending 5 minutes to study an area map. This should be done whenever you get to a new area - by doing this you'll save hours of wasted time.

3. Experiment with a range of different characters.

Work out via experimentation which character will be most effective for you. It's obviously best to do tis experimentation early on in the game.

4. Choose a profession wisely.

Don't rush in to choosing a profession. Choose the profession that is most likely going to help you towards your goal in the game. Are you looking to make money or become a killing machine? Think about these types of things before settling on a profession and remember that each profession has a trade which matches it.

5. Go Questing from the start.

Questing is the best way to gain experience points and level up your character. Questing also pays better than grinding and gives you the chance to gain some valuable rewards for completing them.

6. Quest lines are not restricted to race.

Quest lines are not limited to 1 race. Humans can do quests designed for other races and visa versa. You can work this to your advantage at times and use it to level up faster.

7. Choose your race carefully.

When choosing between Horde and Alliance, remember that while Alliance has more content, it also has many more people playing. Consider choosing the Horde faction and you'll have more resources available.

Free SuDoKu PC Games - Benefits of Playing on PC and Where to Download Free PC SuDoKu Games

The popular SuDoKu puzzle now comes in many formats, from the old pen and paper and board games to some great free SuDoKu PC games which are available online as downloads. Whilst purists may prefer the old paper version, I really enjoy the electronic versions because they incorporate all the benefits and fun of the classic puzzle but with more visual compelling features and some amazing graphical representations.

SoDoKu PC downloads come in many themes and variations and some involve additional features such as a background story, quest or treasure hunt. So that there are not just about solving a basic numerical riddle but a SoDoKu with symbols or hidden codes that have to be solved in order to uncover clues.

For example I have been enjoying playing a game called Ancient SuDoKu; this has a tribal theme to it and uses colored gems as well as numbers in its puzzles. This makes this PC game more visual and gives the classic SuDuKu a new twist.

I enjoy doing SuDoKo as it is a great way to build up logic and my skills of deduction. Deduction is required to eliminate each of the possible variables in each cell of a grid. Typically the grid size had been a 9 times 9 grid. Nowadays the grid can be bigger, different shapes or use different symbols. All SuDuKu puzzles will start with some cells pre-filled to help you get started. The number of cells that have been pre-filled will determine how easy or difficult the puzzles are. Usually the levels of difficulty are split into easy, medium, hard and difficult.

There are many sites where I can get free SoDoKu games, by printing off and solving them on paper one by one. But the benefit of downloading full free SuDoKu PC games is that I have access to unlimited SuDoKo games right there on my computer. I can then choose when and which level to play - from easy to difficult with out having to print them off.

I can also get hints to help me, there and then. And also get the complete solution if I really get stuck! The Ancient SuDuKu game (I mentioned above) is a particular favorite of mine as it includes a puzzle solver feature. This means I can even put in any SuDoKo puzzle that I get from say a newspaper or magazine and enter the given pre-filled numbers into the solver. Then I can play it on my PC, use the hints button in the puzzle solver if I'm stuck or get it to completely solve it for me if I really can't solve it on my own, which is pretty cool!

Whenever I have a spare moment I bring up my PC SoDoKu game and have quick go. They say that doing these sort of logic puzzles every day helps to give your brain a bit of a workout. I find it is also good way of taking a break from my work or any other intense mental activity! Doing a SuDoKu brainteaser gives my mind a break from the tasks in hand by shifting my focus onto something completely different and is a good trick to becoming more productive at work.

Dirt Cheap Games For the Nintendo Wii

One of the disadvantages of living in a consumer driven economy, is that every time something new hits the shelves, we have to pay a premium for it. It's not cheap to be the first kid on the block with the latest toy. Marketing bills are expensive I guess. The good thing is though, that once a toy (like the Nintendo Wii) has been around for a while, things get a bit cheaper. Take games for example. It is possible, to get some pretty good deals on Wii games.

If you're a little patient, and don't mind not being able to add to "your collection" renting games is a smart way to go. It's an excellent way, to try out a title you may be hesitant to pay full price as well.

If you're going to rent a lot of games, it would be well worth your while to find a store that rents games at a monthly fee. There are a number of online stores that do this. Usually the way it works, is you can play as many games as you want, but can only have 1 or 2 games out at a time. When you bring one back, you can take another.

As with anything, there are pros and cons to this way of renting games. Having to exchange games all the time, can sometimes be a pain. But, having a huge selection to choose from is a big advantage. Game rental companies usually have thousands of titles to choose from. They're sort of like a library, but with games, instead of books. The other rather obvious advantage, is price.

The major deciding factor that will determine if renting games is right for you, is the frequency of time you spend playing games. If you play more than a couple of new games titles a month, then you should really look into it.

While, everyone knows you can download games from the internet onto your PC, it seems a little less publicized, that you can do the same thing with your Wii. They're called WiiWare, and they're usually pretty inexpensive. They usually go for less than $10. I think some owners are either a little reluctant to hook up their Wii to the internet, or just don't know how. It's actually pretty easy, if you already have wireless at home.

For all you young, green loving, Al-Gore-following, save the planet types, that also own a Wii, I truly hope you're already buying used Wii games. Or, at least renting games. While it does keep money out of the economy, and in your pants, it also cuts down on our already excessive consumption of plastic, cardboard, Styrofoam, and other packaging materials. Seriously though, pretty much every game ever written for the Wii is on sale used somewhere.

OK, so one more suggestion here. Never, never, never wait in line to buy a Wii game. Only crazy uber geeks with no life would do that. The worst part of it all, is that you end up paying at least full price for the game. Just relax, wait a month or so, and I bet you save at least one third of the original selling price.

Visit this Cheap Wii Games Website for some inexpensive Wii fun.

Some Used Wii Games aren't a bad idea either.

Video Games - Choosing Your Console

Video games have never been as hot as they are now after nearly four decades since the first Magnavox Odyssey in 1972. The Atari generation came next and reaped wild success as it worked in tandem with Sears stores where their gaming consoles were sold. Soon after, The Odyssey simply vanished. Many companies tried but failed to compete with Atari which dominated the market until 1983 when personal computers became more affordable and offered better games. Then came the Japanese who took over with their Nintendo and Sega series until the mid-1990's when cartridges became history and DVD's ruled with a promise of longer, richer, and more challenging video games.

Today's market is ripe with the best video game consoles that guarantee your best gaming experience. Whether you're looking to get an Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, or Nintendo DS, you're better off knowing the basics.

First, the games. Why would you want a video game console that wouldn't give you the games you want? Playstation, Playstation 2 and Super Nintendo are so popular because they offer the most number of game selections for practically every thinkable genre. If you're particular about the games you play, get a system that has them. Don't make the mistake of getting an Xbox and looking for Mario and Luigi there. You'll have a better chance finding them in Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS and Super Nintendo. With your Xbox and Xbox 360, however, you can get wild with Halo. Final Fantasy, meanwhile, has moved to Paystation 2 but older versions are still on SNES, Gameboy Advance, and Playstation.

When it comes to graphics, the newer consoles are naturally better than their predecessors. But among the older systems, you'll barely spot the difference. Playstation will give you just the same visual quality as Nintendo 64 and Super Nintendo, but Nintendo 64 is sharper than Super Nintendo and Super Nintendo is quite a bit superior to the original Nintendo. With the newer breed, the differences are more pronounced. You'll find your portable Nintendo DS and PSP inferior when compared to home consoles because they run on limited power. The PSP also offers a better resolution than the DS. By far, Xbox 360 and PS3 give you the best graphics yet with the Wii coming fairly close.

Some unique accessory features come with every particular system but don't necessarily have an impact on your gaming experience. Some use motion sensors for control, such as the Wii, while others use the good old- fashioned joystick. Portability is another feature offered by your Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance. If you want interactive online gaming, the Xbox or Xbox 360 give you the best online advantage.

Gaming then and now have grown so far apart. These days, video games are as serious as any traditional sport there is and if your satisfaction means anything to you, you should get serious in choosing the system that works for you.

While price could be an issue, in the end, a video game is only worth as much as how you liked playing it.

Brain Training For the PC - Why They Are Better Than Brain Training Video Games

More and more people are considering brain training for the PC games. These games are gaining in popularity because they truly offer brain fitness potential compared to their video game counterparts. For those new to this industry, companies like Nintendo™ created a number of video games made popular on game system like the Wii™ and the DS Lite™ systems. These games became very popular, particularly in Japan. However, the knock on these games is that they offer little true mind training benefits or improvement. In this void stepped, brain training for the PC games which were supported by a number of scientific advisory boards. These companies include Lumos Labs™, Posit Science™, and CogniFit™ among others. These companies are able to provide better mind fitness training in comparison for many reasons. Here, are a few of the reasons why:

1. Some brain training games are better suited for PCs than others.

The larger screen and computing capabilities of a standard computer tend to dwarf the abilities of smaller gaming systems like the DS Lite and Wii. This makes it possible to have more intricate games that specifically call on more abilities to offer a true mind workout. In addition, the monitor size can have impact on performance in some games.

For visual or spatial games, it is very likely that monitor size can have a direct correlation on how or easy the game is. This occurs because in games where exact location is needed to be remembered, this is hard to find on smaller monitors because of less pixilation. This can actually become a deterrent to using the program because errors are made that are not really errors because of the smaller size. This issue is largely reduce with brain training for PC games.

2. Offer more variation than video game versions.

The PC or online versions allow for changes to be made more easily than video game versions. A new update can easily be added to online systems allowing users to get the enhanced version. Although some programs come in a CD format, many more are designed to be used directly online. The result is these mind fitness companies can easily make changes to existing games or add new games when the need dictates. This creates an ever evolving benefit to customers that the video game versions cannot match.

3. The better companies are backed by scientific study.

There are a number of the online companies that truly are in the business of creating brain fitness programs designed to help against cognitive decline and to improve daily brain functioning. These companies are easy to spot because they will have studies supporting their games and will tend to take on scientific feel. The most popular ones are Lumos Labs that offers the Lumosity™ Games, Posit Science which offers a few different game formats, and CogniFit which offers the MindFit™ game. This scientific focus means these games are going in the right direction to offer the best brain training benefits. In addition, as these games continued to be tested in studies, more research will show these companies how to adjust these games to get even more benefits.

4. Benefits of using a keyboard over a game controller.

A current significant advantage of brain training for pc games over video game versions is the ability to use an actual keyboard over a game controller with few buttons or stylus. Think of the limitations of palm pilot compared to a standard computer keyboard if it has been a few years since you played any video games. This turns out to be a huge advantage for the computer programs. There are still some limitations in handwriting software programs that detract from the video game experience. In addition, there are simply more buttons that can be used with a keyboard allowing for more versatility that a video game controller cannot match.

The end result of all these advantages is the brain training for pc games offer more room to make changes and also have the ability to go much further than the standard video games. Finding Cheap Wii Games

When a new gaming console comes out, it seems like everything associated with that console, is just uber expensive. That includes service, parts, accessories, and games. Fortunately for Wii owners, the Nintendo Wii has been on the market for a while, and it is possible to get some deals on games. There are several ways to get cheap Wii games, if you know where and how to look for them.

Renting games, is one possible alternative. Your local video store likely has game rentals for a little more than the price of a DVD rental. They usually have the latest titles, and it's cheaper than paying full price for a game you may not even like.

The other alternative, is renting by mail, with a monthly membership fee. The fee is fixed, and usually around $20 give a take a little. The nice thing is, you can play as many games as you like every month. You usually pick a game of their website, they send it to you via mail, you play it till your bored, send it back, then they send you another.

The obvious advantages to renting games is that you never get stuck paying full price for a game you only play a few times. Choice, is another advantage. The game rental companies usually have thousands of titles to choose from. Imagine, it's like having the biggest room in your house filled with nothing buy shelves and shelves of video games. That's kind of what it's like. Except, with a monthly membership, you actually get to keep furniture in that big room.

Being able to play all the games you want for one fixed price is basically how it works. As long as you play plenty of games per month, it will likely save you money.

Another option for cheap Wii games, is to go the WiiWare route. A lot of people probably don't even know about this. Nintendo doesn't seem to plug it much. But, you can actually download games through your Wii, right onto your Wii, and play them right away. There are some top notch games like Mega Man 9 available on WiiWare. Remember, first you have to connect your Wii to your home wireless network.

Another excellent option for inexpensive games, is to buy used Wii games. You can get these either at your local games store, or online. The nice thing about shopping for used Wii games online, is that your choice of games will be exponentially larger than anywhere else. If there's a specific game in mind, you can be pretty sure you'll find it online. If you want another reason for buying used games, how about it's more environmentally friendly. One of the three R's (reduce, reuse, recycle).

Another tip to keep in mind when buying Wii games (or any games for that matter), is to try and wait a while. Never buy a game just as it hits the store shelves. Especially the big anticipated titles. They almost always get cheaper a couple of months down the road. You'd be amazed, at the great games you can find in a bargain bin.

Exciting Assassin Flash Games

The game story of Sniper Assassin 2 starts from a government agent named Shawn Davidson, who is a tasked to hunt down and kill a drug lord named Mr. Johnson. His mission was cut short when, upon arriving home from his last "clean-up" mission, he found his wife dead... hanged by the neck, a lone shiny bullet staring back at him from her skull. There were notes written all-over her body... Stay away... stay away...

Playing the role of Shawn, you need to avenge the murder of your wife. But before you can get to the final target, you have to kill other targets in different level missions as well. There are 11 levels in total, and in each and every level, you need to find the right person to shoot based on what was written on the mission objective. But be wary, because the clues are a bit tricky. In some levels, you need to shoot an object to make it look as an accident.

The graphics and audio are simple, but the mission gets more exciting as you finish each level. Playing the role of a sniper can be exciting and not only involves action, but strategy thinking as well. Give it a try and I am sure you won't find it boring.

If you want to try another cool and challenging assassin game, I would recommend Panda Tactical Sniper. Your objective in this game is to rescue the cuddly but deadly Panda Sniper when he gets into trouble. This also involves a bit of strategy thinking as you need to find a way to free him from a cage and other obstacles. You also get to hit targets moving across the air. It does not sound as complex as what it appears to be. After a few shots, you will be able to figure things out.

I love the audio and graphics, and how each level becomes more challenging than the next. I guess belonging to a squad of assassins, including a Panda makes the game quite unique. Not a bloody game, but sure to keep you entertained.

There are lots of assassin games at Rival Saga Mini games, each one unique and challenging at the same time. It would be totally up to you to figure out which ones would keep you playing for more, or which games you think you might need a walkthrough. After all, all these flash games are free and updated daily, so you can have a look at what suits you most.
